Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactOverall a nice one. It takes vision to spot beauties like this, and you obviously were referring to macros when you said you should do something you are good at.
As for composition, the theme is well at the middle, slightly above the diagonals, which is a good choice for a square form factor. The dark 11-to-5 a clock diagonal directs the eye nicely. The central flower also appears to have a nice frame. With all this perfection the focused leaf in the right edge seems a bit like an artifact.
Colors are in the balanced violet-blue-white range, which ties the image well together, even with the heavy depth of field effect. All in all this is very pleasant to the eye.
